Terms of Service

1. About these terms
- These Terms apply to heating-oil delivery and related services provided by Tudor Energy LLC (“we,” “us”). By placing an order you agree to these Terms.
2. Service area
- We serve Burlington and nearby towns including Avon, Bristol, Canton, Harwinton, New Hartford, Torrington, and Unionville.
3. Pricing
- Per-gallon price is posted on our website and may change without notice until scheduled.
- Quotes are estimates. Final charge is based on actual gallons delivered.
4. Orders and scheduling
- Orders are will-call unless otherwise stated.
- Scheduling windows are provided after we review your order and location.
- We may reschedule due to weather, access, or safety conditions.
5. Minimums and fees
- Minimum delivery: 100 gallons. Smaller deliveries may incur a small-order fee.
- After-hours or emergency service may incur an additional fee, disclosed before scheduling.
6. Access and safety
- You must provide safe access to the fill and ensure the tank and venting comply with code.
- We may refuse delivery if unsafe conditions exist. A trip fee may apply if we cannot deliver due to access issues.
7. Payments and authorization
- Payments are processed by NMI. Card details are tokenized and vaulted by NMI; we receive a non-sensitive token to complete your charge.
- By completing checkout, you authorize NMI to create a customer profile and store your payment method in its PCI-DSS compliant vault on our behalf.
- For one-time (will-call) orders, we use this token to settle the final delivery amount after your delivery is completed.
- If you enroll in automatic delivery, you also authorize us to use this stored token to charge for future automatic deliveries as described in Section 11.
8. Cancellations and refunds
- Cancel before dispatch to avoid fees. Once dispatched, a trip fee may apply.
- Partial fills: any unused pre-authorization is released; final billing reflects actual gallons.
9. Liability
- We are not liable for damages caused by customer-owned tanks, lines, or equipment, or by failure to maintain safe access. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the applicable delivery.
10. Communications
- By placing an order, you agree that we may contact you by email, phone, or text message about your order, delivery status, safety issues, and account-related matters.
- We store your contact information (such as email and phone) to manage your account and schedule deliveries.
- We may send occasional service updates or promotions. You can opt out of promotional emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us.
11. Automatic delivery program (if selected)
- Automatic delivery is optional and is not enabled unless you expressly select it on the order form or in writing.
- If you enroll, you authorize us to schedule deliveries based on factors such as historical usage, tank size, degree-day data, and weather.
- By enrolling, you authorize us to charge your stored payment method (via the NMI token) for each automatic delivery, for the actual gallons delivered at the then-current posted price unless otherwise agreed.
- You are responsible for notifying us promptly if your usage changes materially (for example, adding or removing heating zones, switching fuels, long absences, or increased occupancy).
- You can cancel automatic delivery at any time by contacting us. Cancellations made after a truck has been dispatched may be subject to a trip fee.
- We will make reasonable efforts to prevent run-outs under automatic delivery, but we do not guarantee an uninterrupted supply of fuel. You remain responsible for monitoring your tank and notifying us if your level is critically low.
12. Privacy

13. Governing law
- These Terms are governed by Connecticut law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
14. Changes
- We may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms apply to orders placed after the change. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
