Predictable monthly installment
A steady monthly payment applied to your account instead of one large seasonal bill.
The Tudor Energy Budget Plan helps make heating-oil expenses more predictable by spreading payments over time. It is a payment arrangement only. It is not a fixed-price, capped-price, lock-in, prebuy, or guaranteed-price fuel contract.
Every delivery is billed for the actual gallons delivered at Tudor Energy's applicable retail price on the date of delivery. The monthly installment does not determine, cap, lock, or guarantee the price per gallon.
Budget payments are credited to your account, and delivery charges are posted to that same account. The account can carry either a credit or an amount due from month to month. Paying the monthly installment does not necessarily mean that all fuel delivered during that month has been paid in full.
Clear terms so you know exactly what the plan does — and does not — do.
A steady monthly payment applied to your account instead of one large seasonal bill.
Fuel is always billed at Tudor Energy's applicable retail price on the date of delivery.
Your agreement states the installment amount, payment date, start date, end date, and credit limit.
Cancel without a Budget Plan cancellation penalty; amounts already owed remain payable.
A valid Tudor-approved electronic payment method and recurring authorization for the scheduled monthly installment are required.
Each agreement states the monthly installment, payment date, start date, end date, and account credit limit. A plan includes at least three installments over at least 120 days.
Budget Plan enrollment does not guarantee uninterrupted delivery. Future deliveries may be held for a missed payment, invalid payment method, an account at or above its disclosed credit limit, unsafe delivery conditions, or another condition stated in the signed agreement.
You may cancel without a Budget Plan cancellation penalty. Cancellation stops future scheduled installments after processing but does not erase charges for fuel already delivered. Any remaining amount due remains payable.
If you terminate future heating-fuel deliveries, excess money must be returned as required by applicable Connecticut law.
Budget Plan and Automatic Delivery are separate. Budget Plan customers will generally also be enrolled in Automatic Delivery, but cancelling one does not automatically cancel the other.
